While living and growing up in the Coastal Plains of South Texas , Frede developed a deep passion for wildlife and the outdoors. He has been known to have a rare extra sense about him allowing for a direct connection with nature. As a good friend of his explains, “Frede knows what an animal is going to do before the animal knows. I don’t know how, but he just knows. He would have made an incredible mountain man… except for the fact that he loves people.”
In 2014, Frede and his wife Claudia decided to pull up stakes in South Texas and relocate to the Hill Country of Central Texas. After a long and extensive search for “the perfect piece of land that would fit their needs,” Contigo Ranch near Fredericksburg was born.
Frede’s gregarious personality and his love of nature have been the impetus behind Contigo Ranch. A barbecue, a wedding, a family reunion, or simply folks gathering to enjoy each other’s company, he loves to see people getting together. His mantra could very well be… Life Goes on Forever and the Party Never Ends.
