Yes. The ranch provides modern cottages and spacious lodges that can host more than 50 guests. Weekend weddings require booking the cottages adjacent to The Hall for a two-night stay, with Cabins 1-5 as optional, allowing couples and guests to enjoy a full Hill Country getaway.
Absolutely. Most couples pair a ceremony at The Bluff with a reception in The Hall and a rehearsal dinner or welcome party or choose an intimate celebration in The Barn the night before. All spaces offer natural views and easy indoor-outdoor flow. For smaller micro weddings of 50 guests or fewer, we offer customizable elopement packages, personalized to suit your needs.
Rates vary by season and venue. Peak weekend dates (March-June, September-November) generally range from $9,500-14,800, while off-peak weekend dates begin around $4,500. This excludes the cost of any lodging necessary for your wedding party and guests, as well as extended hours, caterers, wedding planners and other vendors required to make your event a success.
We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for spring and fall weekends.
Yes. All couples and guests are welcome, and all our cabins are pet friendly, as well as our bridal and honeymoon cottages.

Yes. Barn events end by 10 p.m. and Hall events by 11 p.m., with an additional hour for cleanup.
Yes! We love seeing couples bring their vision to life. Please ensure all tape and hanging materials can be removed without damaging our walls. We do not permit glitter, confetti, feathers, permanent hanging devices, or artificial flowers outdoors. If you’re taking a DIY approach to décor or florals, your decorating team is expected to arrive fully prepared with everything needed for setup, execution, cleanup, and removal, as Contigo Ranch staff are unable to assist with DIY services.
Unfortunately, we do not. You will need to rely on the equipment provided by your entertainment choice. We can offer a large Bluetooth speaker for The Barn for a rehearsal dinner if you would like to use one (by request only).
No, but we always recommend starting here! We highly recommend choosing vendors from this curated list as these vendors have worked multiple events at the ranch. Vendors outside of this list require pre-approval prior to your contracting with them to ensure they have the proper permits and insurance.
You’re welcome to source your own rental items. If you rent decor or furniture from a company, we ask that you coordinate a scheduled drop-off and pick-up delivery to the ranch within our daily office hours. In the event a vendor does not arrive on time, Contigo Ranch assumes no responsibility. Additional fees may apply – incurred by you – for delayed or missed pick up.
While we do not have a designated bridal space, many couples utilize their booked onsite lodging to get ready. Cabin 1 makes for a great ‘Grooms Suite’ while Cottage 15 makes for a great ‘Bridal Suite.’ Lodging is an additional cost outside of venue fees.
Yes! We do require a professional planner who is not a family member or member of the wedding party for all weddings. Please refer to your Contract for clear details on Coordinator requirements as well as our team’s responsibilities versus your planner’s responsibilities.
No. It’s very important to us that our couples receive our dedicated attention just on them. With so many important elements to execute, we focus on one wedding per day at Contigo Ranch.
Due to TABC regulations and our on-site license, we require our clients to purchase their alcohol directly from Contigo Ranch. Ask us how you can get a $500 credit! Ask about our bar package and service options.
The closest convenience store is in Fredericksburg so please make sure you stock up in town before coming to the ranch. We do provide ice for each cabin however it’s not enough to ice down a big cooler or more. Be sure to ask your caterer to include ice for the rehearsal dinner or reception.
Our property is 24 miles outside of town and takes 30 minutes to get to Main Street.

Yes, we have handicapped parking spaces and all of our walkways are level surfaces. Handicapped parking at The Bluff needs to be requested so that we can communicate with security and parking.
Absolutely! Our team can provide day-of bar enhancements, including Mimosa Bars, Bloody Mary Bars, coffee service, and other beverage options to keep your wedding party refreshed while getting ready. For lunches, light bites, and snacks, we recommend our preferred catering partner, Hill Country Herb Garden, whose culinary team can create the perfect menu to fuel your celebration. Advance ordering is required.
The Veranda is the perfect Plan B option for your ceremony, still giving your guests that open-air feeling without being exposed to the elements. Alternatively you may opt to relocate your ceremony to the Barn, based on availability. We request this decision 24 hours in advance of your event.
We love our furry friends! Contigo Ranch is a dog friendly property. Please refer to our detailed pet policies in your contract, also available on the Lodging page on our website.
We offer a complimentary 10-day Hold for couples with their hearts set on a specific day. Our prime dates tend to book 12-18 months in advance, so this allows for peace of mind while making your decision, knowing that you’re on our calendar for 10 days.
We would be honored to be the site of your engagement photoshoot, or any other photos you’d like to take on the grounds. Complimentary access is awarded to all couples who are getting married on property. We do require that any photoshoots are scheduled with our team in advance.
Yes, The Barn is a wonderful space to host your rehearsal dinner. There is an additional cost of $1,200 to book this space. We are also happy to provide other local recommendations.
Your rehearsal dinner can start anytime you’d like! All Barn events wrap up at 10:00 pm – that’s when our Watusi cattle neighbors turn in for the night, and we like to keep these gentle giants happy. Plus, they’re pretty strict about their bedtime routine!
Yes, we have 15 unique Cabins and Cottages and we can host up to 54 people right here on the ranch if all available beds and pull outs are used to capacity. We require a 2-night minimum full property buy out for all weddings.

For any events with 60 or more people, we do require security from our partner, Hill Security. Security needs are based on the event duration and headcount. Details will be provided in your contract and onboarding packet.
Your only job is to celebrate and make memories! We have a wonderful team approach to wrapping up the evening – your vendors and service staff will handle their areas, while your Planner/Coordinator will take care of gathering your personal touches and decor.
We ask that all guests who are not staying on the property leave to go to their respective lodging at the conclusion of the event.
